Go about making your mash exactly as you usually would (I added a teaspoon of mustard to mine) and then start frying up your porkies. Once they are pretty much cooked drop in some Loxton Lager and add a lid so that they steep in the beer and get a nice crispy hide. Whilst the sausages are cooking chop up some mushrooms and some onion and then fry it up in the same pan with some butter after removing the porkers. When it gets nice and golden brown take some more of the Loxton (if you still have any left!!!) and add it along with some flour and seasoning. The sweetness from the honey-infused lager is the perfect addition to this concoction while the flour helps to buff it up a bit. When all is cooked up, serve with a fresh pint of Loxton lager and be sure to eat up!
Take classic bangers and mash – some pork sausies with mashed up potatoes – and make it absolutely epic by adding some Loxton-infused onion-and-mushroom concoction. This is a simple make at home meal, but is a far cry from your usual boring after work dinner.
