Mashing requires
- big 20ltr Hart pot
- smaller 5ltr pot
- cotton grain bag
- plastic mixing spoon
- blanket or something to wrap around the pot while it is sitting
- thermometer
- some kind of jug (with measurements in liter ideally)
- Possibly the same 20 litre pot - that is if you are to mash and boil in same vessel as I do
- scale to measure out hops to be added
- some kind of timer although I just use the oven timer
- big basin or tub or something filled with ice to chill the boiled wort in
- 4.5 liter glass carboy (ideally)
- Iodaphor to sanitize everything that will be touching your wort after the boil
- syphon tube (to syphon from boiling pot to carboy)
- Rubber bung and airlock to seal fermenter
- some bottles of course
- some more of that iodaphor
- ideally a bucket if you are to do batch priming (which I would recommend) else just some sugar or sugar tabs to add to each bottle
- bottle caps
- bottle capper
- bottling tube with valve
